Reporting Technical Issues
The (S6) office directs all communications and is the point of contact for the issues of the communications infrastructure, instructions and protocols during operations as well as for communications troubleshooting, issue, and preventative maintenance. Communications at this level is paired with digital as well as voice (radio, computer, etc.). At the unit level, S6 is also usually responsible for all electronic systems within a unit to include computers, faxes, copy machines, and supporting live feed information via satellite to various sources of other communication devices such as Radio Operators with boots on the ground, UAV's and providing continues data to GPS guided munition.
