Section 5 Public Affairs OPORD

SITUATION.

The Section 5 (S-5) shop is responsible for up-keeping the positive public image of Right To Rebel by maintaining advertisement and current community happenings and events visible to our members and the general public.

a. Friendly Forces.
(1) Higher Headquarters’ Mission and Intent:
(i) Right To Rebel Community HQ
(a) Mission:
Right To Rebel will successfully advertise externally and conduct community events in order to keep our community alive and functioning.
(b) Commanders Intent:
Continue to maintain blog postings about our communities gaming interests on the main page of the website. Furthermore, Right To Rebel will maintain its Facebook page with similar content and current Right To Rebel events. Section 5 will also maintain oversight of any and all external advertising posts, as well as maintain a youtube channel.
(ii) 1st Division HQ
(a) Mission:
Right To Rebel 1st Division will successfully maintain a public affairs and advertising section in order to establish a solid foundation of external recruitment and public image for Right To Rebel.
(b) Commander's Intent:
Right To Rebel 1st Division will maintain the following positions within Section 5 so that Right To Rebel can continue to advertise and increase community cohesion:
1. 1x S5 OIC
2. 1x S5 XO
3. 1x S5 NCOIC
4. 2x S5 Public Affair Specialists
4. 2x S5 Staff

MISSION.

Section 5 will continue to Maintain external and internal advertisement of Right To Rebel through Facebook, Blog content, a successful YouTube Channel, overseeing all advertisements, and planning and coordinating community events, competitions, and tournaments in order to keep a positive public image of Right To Rebel, and appeal to public members, generating potential recruits.

EXECUTION.

I. Commander's Intent
(i) Purpose:
Maintain external and internal advertisement and planning community events.
(ii) Key Tasks:
1. Maintain S5 OIC, S5 XO, NCOIC, and staff positions.
2. Upkeep website blog posts
3. Maintain an active facebook account
4. Create and Maintain a successful YouTube channel
5. Plan events for members
6. Proof-read all external advertisements

I. Logistics.
(a) Available upon request to Division Leader or Command Sergeant Major.

COMMAND AND CONTROL.

a. Command.
(i) Rank Structure:
The minimum rank to join S5 is PFC E-3. A member must be accepted into S5 by the OIC, XO, or NCOIC before they can promote to E-5, if they are not E-5 or above already. The member must take the E-5 Leadership test.
