Bravo Company & Company Level Positions/Duties

Standard Operating Procedure established on XX Month 2017. Not yet approved by Division Leader Antivanity, not yet approved & written by Company Commander Souperhero.

PURPOSE

To establish the standard operating procedure (SOP) for duties within the posts of Bravo Company Platoons. These are expectations that will be followed and enforced.

APPLICABILITY

This SOP applies to Bravo Company, Platoon Leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The Platoon Leader is responsible for:
(i) Providing oversight and management of all platoon level happenings.
(ii) The Platoon Leader is responsible for working closely with their Platoon Sergeant, and assigning tasks to the Platoon Sergeant for the Squad Leaders to carry out.
(iii) The Platoon Leader will carry out any tasks or guidance given to them by the Commander. The Platoon Leader will be the Company’s main liaison to the Company Leadership. The Platoon Leader is responsible for all successes and failures of their Platoon.
2. The Platoon Sergeant (PSG) is responsible for:
(i) Acting in the absence of the Platoon Leader, the Platoon Sergeant will be the ranking member of the platoon. The PSG’s rank of E-6/7 carries the same weight as an O1/2. The 1SG is the Commanders representative when he/she is absent. The PSG will work with the Commander as if the PSG was the Platoon Leader. All other subordinate leadership will continue duties with no need to cover down or change duties.
(ii) The PSG will be in charge of evaluating who should be promoted/demoted within their platoon. The Platoon Sergeant must come to the Platoon Leader and tell him/her who needs to be promoted/demoted, and then provide reasons as to why. The Commander will agree or disagree, and the 1SG will submit a PAF with the following information:
   1) 	Member being removed from their position
   2)	Member’s current grade.
   3)	Any grade changes.
   4)	Attach a citation for promotion/reason for demotion.
(iii) The PSG will be in charge of addressing any issues between Right to Rebel members or public players before they escalate to a greater incident. The PSG will move the members or players into a private channel and deescalate the issue. If it cannot be worked out, the PSG will file and Incident Report and take any necessary actions he deems fit to take at the time.
(iv) The PSG is responsible for ensuring that his/her Squad Leaders are completing their duties. Should any Squad Leaders not be doing their jobs to standard, the PL and PSG will discuss if any problems affecting their community post from real life or from within the community. They will come to an agreement on how to fix the performance of the PSG. Reoccurring problems/failures will likely lead to the 1SG taking actions to replace the member in the post.
(v) The PSG will be in charge of developing all subordinate NCOs along with the PL. The 1SG will work with subordinate NCOs to develop their basic Right to Rebel knowledge, as well as getting them ready for their next promotion and future posts.
(vi) The PSG WILL be responsible for personally seeding or playing games in their platoon, however they should have basic knowledge of games in their Company. The PSG will be responsible for making sure their subordinate leadership is actively seeding and being in control of their respective platoons.
3. The Squad Leaders are responsible for:
(i) Reporting available information and any needs their respective games require to their Platoon leadership on a regular basis.

Commander's/First Sergeants Guidance

1. The chain of command will be followed.
2. All of Bravo Company’s leadership are highly encouraged to attend all meetings relevant to them.
3. Discord will be used as a text-only communication tool.
4. Division Leader may grant exception to policy at any time.
5. The Community Leader's word is final.
